Cobalt Health is excited to present our comprehensive range of patient slings. Our UK-made sling range is designed with both the users and carers in mind. The range is designed to ensure patient comfort and safety, while also providing functionality, durability, and ease of use for carers.

The Cobalt Health Moving and Handling range offer a wide variety of slings, designed to be used with lifting and standing hoists, and are available with both loop and clip (keyhole) fittings. Sling selection should only be made after a comprehensive Risk Assessment has been completed, which will reflect each user's individual physical and cognitive characteristics as well as the task(s) to be performed.

A Toileting or Hygiene Sling is designed to assist with toileting, dressing/undressing, transfers to and from the toilet or transfers from a sitting or semi sitting position. Cobalt Toileting Slings are available with or without head support, depending on the patient’s trunk stability and their ability to control their head and torso.

• Cobalt Health slings are compatible with most makes of floor and ceiling hoist, if unsure, please check with your Cobalt Health representative
• Please check the sling and hoist attachment methods are the same, loops with loops or clips with clips
• Always inspect slings prior to each use, if sling is damaged, frayed or not in original condition do not use
• Please read user instructions prior to use and follow washing instructions to ensure maximum sling life
• Toileting slings are a cross infection risk, keep them clean and avoid using them across multiple patients
