The SJ-200 Original's large body makes an immediate impression upon first look. Whether in the hands of a musician or poised perfectly on its own, the SJ-200 Original makes an impact. The arm-filling body of the SJ-200 Original is crafted with a Sitka spruce top and flame maple back and sides. This wood combination, in addition to the considerable size of the guitar, makes for commanding acoustic tones with resonance and nuance. The body features multi-ply top and back binding.
In the left hand, players will encounter a two-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. This design allows for players to make smooth trips from higher to lower registers. Traversing the scale of the SJ-200 is seamless to chime with higher notes or rumble with lower ones. Once in hand, the SJ-200 Original can be plugged in with its LR Baggs VTC electronics system to bring its distinct tones to the stage or studio. Further features of the SJ-200 Original include a carved four-bar Moustache bridge, a beautifully ornate pickguard, and a bone nut and saddle.
