MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. No more struggling on n54 oil filter cap!

First of all, this is a lifesaver. Getting the oil filter cap on the bmw N54 is a pain to tighten. I can not stress it enough. However this oil filter cap is most definitely the best purchase i have ever made during the oil change process. Before i bought it i damaged my oil filter cap because i didn't have the correct wrench and had to use big pliers to tighten it. Im glad i made this purchase, it’s affordable, good quality, super easy to use, grips the cap well, looks nice and clean, and works extremely well overall. This makes my life owning a N54 powered BMW much more convenient, especially as a DIY’er. I would 100% recommend this product, 5/5 stars.
