Founder & CEO Karen Torres is a Chicago native born to Colombian immigrants. She's been on a personal journey to learn about her Colombian roots and named the business after her grandmother. Karen is committed to working with small, independent, talented artists throughout Colombia and tries to work with indigenous artisans whenever possible. Tulia's gives back to indigenous-led projects that revive, reclaim, and rescue the rich traditions of Colombia’s indigenous peoples.
