We love these new leg-warmers by ManyMonths/Mam (MaM is what they call their collection for women)! Lengthy enough to pull up over your knee, roomy enough to be worn over leggings or pants.
- Made of 100% merino wool, Oeko-Tex certified.
- 21 inches in height, 10 in diameter at knee, 9 inch diameter at ankle.
- Comes with 2 adjustable elastic bands, which can be inserted at the top portion of the leg-warmer to help keep them in place.
- Wear full-length to cover above the knee, or loosely scrunched over calves.
All ManyMonths/MaM items become softer with use and washing. We recommend hand-washing with a lanolin-replenishing soap - adding your favorite hair-conditioner will add extra softness and give them your own personal scent.
Wonderfully soft and stretchy ribbed merino wool that doesn't feel scratchy. Perfect for changing seasons, unique in that can accommodate fluctuating temperatures, keeping body temperature more consistent. And wool's self-cleansing properties mean it doesn't need to be washed as often as other garments. Just airing it out between wearing will do. Particularly, letting wool hang outdoors on a damp or rainy day (under cover), will activate the self-cleansing properties, leaving it fresh, without washing - very practical!

They adhere to the high Finnish work standards and are in daily contact with the company - see more in link above (Read more...). We are open to feedback on this. We have found that there are customers who will not buy the products for this reason, but we have also found customers who love them and are grateful for the Finnish standards applied to them and for their continued availability. The owners of ManyMonths have been working with their Chinese counterparts for decades.
We recommend washing these woolens once prior to wearing - it will help soften the textile. After this, washing can be infrequently, as needed. Caring for Wool.
We recommend hand-washing with Kookaburra Wool Wash.
or LANACare Lanolin Soap with even more lanolin, 7.5%. It is recommended for nursing pads & diaper covers, or to add even more softness to your woolens.
