IJN Destroye FUBUKI 1941 Full Hull Version Model Kit 1/350 | OSTRICH TM35004FH

The Fubuki class destroyer was the first ship of the Japanese Imperial Navy's Fubuki class destroyer. Here is a specific introduction:

Construction background: In 1922, the Washington Naval Treaty was signed, limiting the number of Japanese main ships. In order to weaken the opponent's fleet strength in a possible naval battle with the United States, Japan decided to build a new type of fleet destroyer to compensate for its numerical disadvantage with quality advantages, and the Fubuki class destroyer emerged.

Construction and Service: Construction began on June 19, 1926 at the Wuhe Shipyard, launched on November 15, 1927, and completed on August 10, 1928.
Technical specifications: The standard displacement is about 1900 tons, with a length of 112 meters and a width of 10.36 meters. The power is a gear driven steam turbine with a power of 50000 horsepower, a maximum speed of 38 knots, and a range of 14 knots/4500 nautical miles. Equipped with 3 twin mounted 127mm main guns, 1 76mm anti-aircraft gun, 3 triple mounted 610mm torpedo launchers, 18 mines, as well as mines, depth projectile launchers, sonar, etc.

Combat experience: Before the outbreak of the Pacific War, the Fubuki was mainly active in China. After the outbreak of the war, he carried out tasks such as escorting the landing ship fleet on the Malay Peninsula and launching a campaign to conquer Borneo.
In January 1942, he was active in the Battle of Erenho. On October 11, 1942, it sank in the Battle of Savo Island.

Made well. Precise control pouring spout. Stainless steel, not just coated.
Love this little pitcher. It holds up to 12 oz. It's stainless steel, not just coated, and a decent weight. I love the design with the precise control of the eagles beak spout, but I still can't do the "art" very well. The etched numbers inside make a huge difference between making a Cappacino or Combacha as the difference to a lot of these coffee drinks has to do with how much frothed milk you add to your shots of Espresso, so having the etched markings inside is fantastic! The markings are not actually dug/etched INTO the stainless steel. Feels smooth inside to run your fingers over the etchings. Although I've washed it a few times in top rack of dishwasher the etchings haven't faded, so I'm glad about that. The etchings are dark enough to be easily seen. Measure in ounces and ml. Hopefully they will not wear off somehow. That's why I gave it a four star. It's very comfortable to hold and pour.
