In 1977, the school district of Tyler, Texas, informed parents that, unless they could provide proof of citizenship, they would have to pay for their children to attend public school. Four undocumented families fought back in a legal battle that went all the way to the Supreme Court. Alfredo was one of the students involved in Plyler v. Doe, which made a difference for children all over the country for years to come.

Some prayers in this book could make some people uncomfortable
Format: Paperback
Some prayers in this book could make some people uncomfortable like those that mention "healing from this spirit of death" when the person might not be feeling like they're dying. e.g., the prayer for healing of basal cell carcinoma. For those who may not be aware, the vast majority of basal cell carcinomas (basal cell skin cancer) does not lead to death. According to the Cleveland Clinic, "The prognosis for people diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is excellent. BCC will rarely spread to other areas of your body and cause harm." However, they also point out that "If you don’t receive treatment for basal cell carcinoma, the skin cancer can slowly grow in size and invade deeper tissues like muscle and bone and cartilage." So although a BCC shouldn't be ignored, I think that praying for healing "from this spirit of death" may scare some people.

A Must Have for Prayer Warriors
Format: Paperback
It's rare that I purchase a book for my own reading pleasure. Time to Defeat the Devil was a purchase I couldn't wait to make, and as usual, Chuck Pierce didn't disappoint.
This book includes personal insights, strategies, and an explanation of the current culture and what is on the way as far as prophetic visions, words, and proclamations. Often a lot of books of this nature repeat themselves, but this was full of new to me content that I'm already applying to my prayer life.
Although it might be for an advanced intercessor, the reading was practical and easy to read. I appreciate that he always includes his own experiences and day to day observations to enhance the point.
I'm thrilled that for the very few purchases I make, I chose Time to Defeat the Devil.

Great book. You will want to keep as a reference tool or share with others. Really dot's the i's and crosses the t's. Some of life's struggles come into perspective while giving useful counter measures. Scripture based.
