Matching many of the PRS S2 Custom 24's design specifications, this S2 Custom sets itself apart with its dynamic pickups and switching system. Crafted in Maryland, the S2 Custom 24-08’s American-made TCI pickups meet up with a three-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil tap switches. Tapping this PRS’s TCI humbuckers swaps them tonally to single-coils for a total of eight possible pickup configurations. With enough tonality to fit any style, this S2 Custom 24-08 ensures all the dynamic tonality PRS is known for.
Apart from its expansive tonal palette, this S2 Custom's assembly also stands out. A maple top and mahogany back come together to make a form-fitting shape in hand. PRS implemented an easily-handed Pattern Thin-profile mahogany neck that joins the body with its twenty-four-fret rosewood fingerboard. The iconic PRS Bird inlays detail the board for that added element of PRS authenticity.
Always pushing ahead, PRS enhances the intonation and playing experience of this S2 Custom 24-08 with their patented tremolo bridge design. Low-mass locking tuners adorn the classic PRS headstock, only adding to the guitar’s tonal stability. This guitar travels lavishly in an included PRS Premium gig bag.
