The Nineworlds: Creatures and Monsters expansion introduces a new dimension where players divert some of their player stones to the fight against the monsters.
Defeat of the monsters will yield rewards. Failure to tackle the monsters means that various players will suffer penalties with the least courageous, who have done the least to fight the monsters, treated harshly by the norns who govern the fates of all.
The key to this expansion is balancing the division of the action points between actions in the Nineworlds and engaging the monsters.
