Edelbrock part #7895 Accu-Drive camshaft gear drive kit for Pontiac 326-455 V8 engines replaces a stock timing chain with a precision gear drive system utilizing a compound gear drive train. The gear drive can be easily installed. Just replace the stock crank and camshaft sprockets with Accu-Drive gears and slip in the idler assembly. Most Accu-Drives require no modifications to the engine block, although some fitting of the axles and front cover may be required. This Accu-Drive camshaft gear drive kit for Pontiac engines transmits power from the crankshaft gear to a full floating main idler which drives the camshaft gear. A unique feature of the Edelbrock Accu-Drive system is the ability of the main idler gear to float to an optimum position between the crankshaft and camshaft gears, assuring absolutely equal load sharing between the crankshaft and the camshaft gears. The gears are made from billet SAE-1144 steel with induction hardened teeth. Gear teeth are shaved for precision operation. The set features hardened and ground idler pins from billet steel and are compatible with all standard camshafts. Just aren’t large enough.
This is a great idea, and I can wear socks over them and not notice they are there. I just wish they came in a larger size. When I put cream around the edges of my heels where the cracks always are, I cannot stretch the socks wide enough to clear the heel without smearing the cream onto my fingers or on the sock cuff. They do stay in place and aren't squishy at all when walking. They smell good too. The price is right. I wore them overnight and my heels were indeed much softer and smoother than before, and felt moist (tacky) where the cream had been. So they do an amazing job, but after using them six nights, they just aren’t large enough for me to put on without a hassle.
