Design Concept

Since Niannian's parents often travel for work, young Niannian wanted to design a warm, “companionship-oriented” seat representing the family. Even when she grows up and leaves home, her parents can see the heart-shaped sofa symbolizing the family’s love and feel close to her — the family’s hearts remain together. Its overall design is inspired by hearts—her favorite shape—and represents the child’s sincere love for her family. The staggered heart-shaped backrests resemble a family cuddling together: the tall ones represent the parents, the shorter ones the child. The asymmetrical cushions provide both adult support and a comfortable seat depth for children. This sofa aims to bring each family a “two-way sense of companionship,” allowing them to feel the child’s deep love and affection.

Wooden slats not sturdy enough.
The bed frame looks nice, but the holes were not all aligned well, and with a bit of wrangling we were able to get it assembled with two people in about 45 minutes. The box was small, and the side rails are actually two pieces. Be careful because I pinched my hand pretty good when trying to align them after everything had been screwed together. The slats that go under the mattress are very thin and I'm concerned that they will break eventually. I think the company could have used better wood for the slats and still charged the same price. It's so hard to read through a ton of reviews to decide which bed frame to buy. This one is OK, but I see myself having to purchase wood in the future to replace the slats. It's long enough for a grown young man of 6'1" to sleep on it, but if my kids were younger and prone to jumping on beds, I'm sure it would break.
