Voids employs the vocal talents of Bill Callahan, Emily Cross, Adam Torres, and Julia Holter across twelve genre-fluid, yet impressively cohesive tracks that span baroque dream-pop, filmic ambient, raga-like drones, avant-country, and even spiritual jazz, all imbued with poetic heft and seared by the West Texas sun. It was beneath this same sun that Lapham lost both of his parents, mourned a withering relationship, and shouldered the fallout of the pandemic, turning his life into the rusted-out scraps he then used to build Voids from the ground up. There is no better narrator for Lapham's story than fellow Texas resident Bill Callahan, whose iconic delivery perfectly personifies the core themes of Voids. By the time Callahan appears, he does so over a saw-blade drone that sounds like machinery echoing off the corrugated steel walls of a nearby workshop, which then breaks open into a loose yet pained confluence of violin and upright bass that recalls Joe Henderson's 1974 spiritual jazz album The Elements. On "Dreamless" the album crystallizes into it's most straight-ahead moment as Lapham trains his compositional lens on a brilliant piece of pop songwriting. Featured vocalist Adam Torres soars over John Mark's punctual arrangement of stomping drums and rapturous string-work to anthemic, and gently psychedelic consequence. Voids concludes with the pleasant clatter of "Circles" wherein Lapham throws all his ingredients into a pot of celebratory catharsis. Drum sets collide with one another gleefully, and harmonized textures scatter and roll about the floor like a dropped bucket of ornate marbles. Lapham's collage-work, which up to this point has been smartly restrained, comes unglued as he transmutes grief into relief within a moment-of-death montage of aural imagery. Across Voids, that same awareness of tragedy and loneliness is made palatable by the album's exciting and varied topography, which stands insubordinately against Lapham's real-life surroundings. The settlers who established West Texas towns like the one he calls home must have done so with a sense of hope despite the hostility of their surroundings, however inevitable the withering. Similar spirits speak through John Mark Lapham's work, and he welcomes them as fascinating old friends. "That more than anything inspired a lot of what I try to express through Old Fire, faded memories, former glories, places lost in time," he discloses. "Whatever I was trying to express with Old Fire wasn't finished with the first album, like a story that was only half-read. It seemed like that was only the beginning, and there was a lot more ground to cover." If there is ground still uncovered for Old Fire after Voids, it's sure to be lush in spite of- or perhaps because of- the dusty soil beneath it.

Cute, soft, and large blanket!
Size: 50"x70", Color: Cherry Cakes Hot Pink, Size: 50"x70", Color: Cherry Cakes Hot Pink
Very cute and warm throw blanket! The blanket is super soft and has great weight to it. Sometimes these throw blankets with prints look weird on the “back” side but, this one’s print goes all the way through. Or sometimes it doesn’t feel as soft on the back side. But this blanket isn’t like that. This is a high quality blanket! I also love the size of the blanket! It’s much larger than the standard throw so it’s perfect for someone who likes to get cozy on the couch!

Get this blanket!
Size: 50"x70", Color: Berry Cheetah Pink, Size: 50"x70", Color: Berry Cheetah Pink
This juicy blanket is such a nice quality! The softness is absolutely incredible the weight of the blanket isn’t light but isn’t super heavy. The pink is gorgeous my phone camera had a hard time actually getting the pink colors I think my second photo is the most it picked up but the entire blanket is pink I love the bows and the cherry’s and how it of course has the signature juicy on some of the cherrys. The material is super soft. I mean incredibly soft! It’s perfect. I know it says for kids but I’m an adult and I love it I’m 4’10 so it’s long enough to cover my whole body and keep me warm at night I also move to cuddle with it on my face or bring it to the couch to stay warm. I really love love love this juicy blanket and I highly recommend it it’s a great value for the quality you get.

The ultimate "cozy" blanket—thick, soft, and incredibly warm
Color: 03- Tie Dye Black, Size: Throw (50" X 60")
his Bedsure blanket is the definition of comfort. One side features a velvety smooth faux fur while the other is a thick, plush Sherpa fleece. It’s significantly heavier than a standard throw, making it perfect for cold nights. The black color is deep and rich, and I’ve been impressed that it doesn't shed at all, even after several washes. It drapes beautifully over a couch or bed and adds an instant touch of luxury to the room. It’s the perfect size (50"x60") for curling up with a book or a movie.

Buy this now!!!
Color: 15- Teal, Size: King (108" X 90")
This is probably one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. I have washed it at least 10 times so far and it still looks the same as when I bought it. It is so soft and snuggly I love it so much. The color is beautiful the furry side is soft and the bottom side has Sherpa on it which is also soft. It's not super heavy and it keeps me warm and it fits my king size bed perfectly. It is such a good value for the money and the quality of it is amazing do yourself a favor and purchase this you will get the best Sleep Quality of your life I swear. I wish I would have had this years ago I don't know what took me so long to find it I have bought several blankets and ended up throwing them away because I did not like the way they felt. This one will be a keeper.
