Vandaag de dag wordt het beroemde wijnbedrijf geleid door de 5e generatie Wente. Met ruim 3000 ha aanplant is Wente niet meer weg te denken uit de hedendaagse wijncultuur in Californië. De trots van de familie zijn nog steeds de wijngaarden in Livermore Valley. Gelegen zo'n 35 km ten oosten van San Francisco bay profiteert dit gebied van de verkoelende ochtendnevels en volop zonneschijn in de middag. Dit microklimaat zorgt ervoor dat de druiven perfect rijp worden en toch de frisheid behouden. 

De naam Morning Fog refereert naar de mist die zich vormt in de baai van San Francisco. De unieke oriëntatie van de Livermore Valley drijft de mistbanken ver naar het oosten die op hun beurt koude lucht met zich meevoeren. Dit zorgt voor een Mediterraan c.q. Maritiem klimaat. Dit betekent dat zowel 's nachts als ‘s ochtends de druiven van flink wat afkoeling kunnen genieten totdat de zon de mist oplost en de druiven van warmte voorziet. Op die manier kunnen de druiven langzaam en gelijkmatig rijpen, wat uiteraard de kwaliteit ten goede komt.

Geniet van de goudgele kleur en de aroma's van rode appel,vanille en mooi geïntegreerde houttoetsen, tevens vallen de citrus en het tropisch fruit op. In de mond een hint van appel, getoast brood, boter en subtiel hout. Deze Chardonnay is mondvullend met een halflange, verfrissende afdronk.

This dog ball is so useful! We have a large property and we use the Chuckit! thrower with the ball. The color and material of the toy is very high-quality and lasts for a long time. We have been using the Chuckit! brand for a long time now and we love their dog products! It is a good price and we buy replacement balls like once or twice every 6 months because they keep getting lost in bushes or trees 😂 After some time the color of the ball gets washed out and since our dogs are aggressive chewers, one of the balls we got broke and split open, but it was still usable! The reason that one broke is because we had it for a HECKA LONG TIME! It has no squeaker so when your dog has the ball it wont make any loud and annoying sounds. It is easy to pick up with the thrower and it seems durable and sturdy enough to last them a few months. I don't recommend as a cat toy because this ball is specifically designed for dogs. But is your cat likes fetch i guess it could work! The ball is soft enough to not be hard as steel, but is sturdy enough to not break immediately.
