Ook is deze Cube van La Sportiva met 1900 gram 20% lichter dan zijn rivalen bij Meindl, Lowa, Hanwag en Scarpa. Er zijn wel lichtere D-Categorie schoenen maar die zijn niet zo stijf als deze. In het klimschoenen sigment vind je tegenwoordig veel gradaties. Deze Nepal Cube GTX komt het best tot zijn recht bij beklimmingen in gemengt terrein tot 4000 meter. Voor hogere bergen zijn ze niet warm genoeg. Daarvoor hebben we de La Sportiva G5 en Olympus Mons.
