San Marzano Amai Susumaniello Rosé is een elegante rosé uit Salento in Puglia, gemaakt van de zeldzame druif Susumaniello. Deze wijn is perfect als aperitief of bij lichte gerechten, zomerse salades en gegrilde vis. In het glas heeft hij een lichtroze, levendige kleur met mooie glans. De neus is expressief met aroma’s van rood zomerfruit zoals aardbei en framboos, bloedsinaasappel, florale tonen en een vleugje mediterrane kruiden. In de mond is hij verfijnd en sappig, met frisse zuren, een subtiele kruidigheid en een minerale, licht ziltige afdronk.

De wijn is gemaakt van 100% Susumaniello uit Salento IGP. De druiven worden zacht geperst, het sap wordt koel vergist en de wijn rijpt enkele maanden in roestvrij staal om het fruit en de fraîcheur maximaal te behouden. Cantine San Marzano is een toonaangevend wijnhuis in Puglia dat moderne wijntechniek combineert met oude wijngaarden en bekendstaat om karaktervolle wijnen van inheemse rassen.

Will last a good while despite not being overly thick.

I purchased these socks about 14 months ago and I use them regularly with maybe five other pairs of socks made by a different brand. No holes so far. I used to buy Hanes and they barely lasted a week before I had to throw a pair of them out. I still use all six of these socks (assuming I can find them!) I often walk outside on my cement patio or tiptoe through the grass in socks so I am a little tough on them I guess you could say. I'm also very active. I don't exercise at a gym and thus don't use them in tennis shoes but walk most of the day when at home. I run around in my yard doing yard work and gardening. I also have worn them regularly at work while walking around in my steel toed shoes (which rub) and they somehow lived through that. They still look fine: no discoloration or weak spots in the heel which is usually the first sign of wear for me. They are comfortable too. I don't feel any line at the toes and they don't rub or fit too tight in any way. I love the height of these, they are so short that they slip down in your shoe but not overly tall (I don't like the look and feel of tall socks). They are also lightweight and very breathable. So great quality for the price. I'd recommend and I will likely buy the same brand in the future.
