De eigen SPAX-aandrijving T-STAR plus is een zogenaamde binnenzesrond. Deze vorm vergroot het aangrijpingsoppervlak bij onze T-STAR plus en de T-STAR plus-bits hebben een optimale passing in de schroefkop. De optimale krachtoverdracht van de accuschroevendraaier op de schroef door T-STAR plus zorgt voor vlot werken, en veel efficiënter dan bij alle andere aandrijvingen.

De schroeven met deeldraad zijn zeer geschikt om dunne bouwelementen als houten plaatmateriaal en planken tegen dikkere bouwelementen als kanthout of balken te bevestigen. De korte draad komt in het dikke bouwelement, de draadloze schacht blijft in het daarop bevestigde bouwelement. Dat creëert de maximale contactdruk tussen beide elementen. Het draadloze gedeelte moet ten minste overeenkomen met de dikte van het te bevestigen bouwelement.

Met WIROX heeft SPAX een coating ontwikkeld, die wat betreft corrosiebescherming veruit superieur is aan verzinking. WIROX bevat geen chroom(VI). De schroeven behouden ook na jaren niet aan directe weersinvloeden blootgestelde buitentoepassingen hun belastbaarheid en zijn niet milieubelastend. WIROX schroeven zijn de eerste keus voor alle open bouwwerken zonder directe blootstelling aan weersinvloeden, zoals carports en pergola's. Voor directe blootstelling aan weersinvloeden, zoals bij terrassen, adviseren wij onze roestvaststalen schroeven.
