Euonymus fortunei ‘Harlequin’ groeit goed op vrijwel alle grondsoorten en doet het in zon, halfschaduw en schaduw. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Licht snoeien helpt om de groei compact en mooi vertakt te houden.
