De pan is tevens geschikt als outdoor pan voor het grillen/ bakken van pizza, plancha.

Waarom is deze pan van staal gemaakt? Volgens de Franse keuken is er geen beter materiaal om de Maillard reaction te creëren: een reactie waarbij de oppervlakte van vlees wordt gekaramelliseerd.
