Merinowol is van nature zelfreinigend, dus even buiten laten luchten is vaak al genoeg. Heb je toch een vlekje? Maak dit dan plaatselijk schoon. Als de deken echt een wasbeurt nodig heeft, doe dit dan met de hand (max. 30°C) en een beetje wolwasmiddel. Wring de deken niet uit maar druk het water er voorzichtig uit en laat hem liggend drogen om de vorm mooi te houden.
