Insert compatible with Xia: Legends of a Drift System®, including the Embers of a Forsaken Star®, Sellsword®, and Missions and Powers® expansions. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. The trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.
The insert is arranged in three layers. There are two trays for game cards. One is designed to hold the mission, event and titles cards, the second is for the ability, solo and other game cards. There is space for all cards to be sleeved. There is a large flat tray for the six types of cargo cubes and another for the player pieces. The player pieces tray also stores the first player token and other single piece tokens. There are two trays for the damage markers, so that one can be placed on either side of the table. There is a tray for the relic, outlaw and event tokens, and another for the dice. This last tray also has a slot for the 3,000 credit tokens should you own them.here is a tray for the standard credit tokens, and a separate tray for the two different sets of exploration tokens. This allows you to keep the exploration tokens from the main game and from the Embers of a Forsaken Star® expansion separate. There are separate trays for the ship miniatures and the flight stands. The ship tray is deliberately shallow to allow for easy finding of new ships as and when you need them. You can also store your ships with the flight stands fitted to the miniatures. In this case the smaller ships are placed in the ship tray, and the larger ones together in the flight stand tray.As mentioned above all the trays can be used during the game to organise the components and make access by all players easy. Using the trays in-game also makes clear-away times much quicker. When packing away the game, the rules are first placed on top of the insert trays on the left hand side of the box. On top of these go the ship mats and fame point tracks, stacked in two stacks side by side. This fills the game box to the top and allows for vertical storage, as well as easy transport of the game.
Note: If you own an earlier edition of Xia: Legends of a Drift System® with the thicker card ship mats, you will need to place some of these in three rows on top of everything else. This will give a very small amount of lid lift, but still keep all the game components in place. This product consists of a flat-pack of 9 Evacore sheets. The trays require assembly, which is quick and fun, using ordinary PVA glue. Detailed instructions are included in the package.
