Sluiter en zelfontspanner lopen soepel. Nauwkeurige en hoogcontraste afstandsmeter. De Tessar lens is zonder aanslag, schimmel, krassen of poetssporen. Minimale stofdeeltjes zijn zichtbaar tussen de lensdelen. Focussen en diafragma (zonder olie op de lamellen) bewegen soepel. De lichtmeter beweegt goed en toont plausibele waarden vergeleken met onze Lunasix kalibratiemeter. Nog belangrijker dan de mechaniek is de externe staat. Dit is zonder twijfel de mooiste Super Ikonta IV die wij in onze lange geschiedenis als verzamelaars en ondernemers in handen hebben gehad. Chroom, lak en leer vertonen geen externe gebruikssporen.
