Het hout wat wij gebruiken is beukenhout. Meer dan andere houtsoorten heeft beukenhout een uitstekende antibacteriële werking. Wij maken gebruik van 100% silicone kralen. Het silicone is 100% food graded, bestendig tegen beschadiging en vrij van schadelijke toevoegingen zoals onder andere BPA, sulfaten en andere toevoegingen. Siliconen voelt zacht en glad aan. Het is als een van de weinige stoffen volledig recyclebaar, dat betekent minder afval en een lange levensduur.

 

Voor baby’s is de wereld nog vooral een zwart-wit film. Ze zien namelijk nog geen echte kleuren. Wel zien zij het verschil in kleuren, waardoor het beeld bestaat uit grijstonen. Tussen 4 tot 6 weken begint de baby basiskleuren te onderscheiden. Baby’s houden van contrasten. Hoe sterker het contrast, hoe interessanter. Dit is de reden waarom wij met kleurcontrast werken.

 

Het schoonmaken van het silicone kan met water en een mild sopje. Het beukenhout kan je afnemen met een vochtig doekje en aan de lucht laten drogen. Ook een billendoekje werkt hier goed voor! Een Chewie kan niet uitgekookt worden, in de sterilisator of in de vaatwasser. 

 

Met het keurmerk FSC bent u er zeker van dat ons hout uit een verantwoord beheerd bos komt. Ook zijn al onze Chewies allemaal getest en gecertificeerd naar de Europese speelgoednorm EN71 en worden ze door onszelf, stuk voor stuk, met de hand in Nederland gemaakt. Wij voldoen ook aan de wet Richtlijn 2009/48/EG onze producten zijn dus veilig. De CE-markering betekent dat onze producten voldoen aan de wettelijke eisen.

less early morning blowouts!

As a mom of a very active toddler, finding a diaper that actually holds up overnight has been a journey. We recently switched to the Huggies Size 7 Overnites, and overall, I’m really glad we did. First, the biggest win: way fewer blowouts. Before this, we were dealing with middle-of-the-night sheet changes more often than I’d like to admit. My little one sleeps long stretches, and these definitely hold more overnight without feeling overly bulky or uncomfortable. The fit is snug but still flexible, which is great because he moves a lot in his sleep. That said, they’re not 100% perfect for us. We still get the occasional small pee leak, especially if he’s had a lot to drink before bed or sleeps in certain positions. BUT—and this is important—it’s still so much better than what we were dealing with before. Instead of full outfit and bedding changes, it’s usually just slightly damp pajamas. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend these to other parents dealing with overnight messes. They’ve significantly reduced our stress and cleanup, even if they’re not completely leak-proof for every single night. If you’re on the fence and struggling with overnight blowouts, these are definitely worth trying.
