De natuurlijke vezels voeren warmte af wanneer dat nodig is, zodat je baby het zowel in de winter als in de zomer comfortabel heeft. Merinowol is van nature zelfreinigend door de lanoline in de vezels, waardoor wassen weinig nodig is. Een vlek kun je het beste plaatselijk verwijderen met lauw water. Luchten in de buitenlucht of in een vochtige badkamer frist de deken op zonder wasbeurt. Toch wassen? Gebruik dan een wolwasprogramma of handwas tot 30°C met een mild wolwasmiddel.
