De krachtig en warm ogende muur van cortenstaal is een perfecte aanvulling in tuinen. De muur zorgt namelijk voor meer structuur. Ook kan met de muur een windvrije hoek worden gecreëerd of meer privacy worden aangebracht. Door de holle constructie zijn, als maatwerk optie, voorzieningen toe te voegen zodat je accessoires zoals verlichting eenvoudig toe kunt voegen aan de muur. Zorg dat de muur altijd vast staat in de grond.
De krachtige en warme uitstraling van de muur komt mede door de oranjebruine kleur van het materiaal. Deze kleur vormt zich door een natuurlijke roestlaag. Een andere naam voor cortenstaal is weervast staal: weersomstandigheden hebben namelijk positieve invloed op deze muur.
Cortenstaal is een metaallegering bestaande uit ijzer, waaraan koper, fosfor, silicium, nikkel en chroom zijn toegevoegd. - Zorg dat de muur altijd goed vaststaat, in of op grond. Onze wanden hebben aan beide zijden onderaan een omgezette lip van ongeveer 5 cm voor bevestiging op een stevige ondergrond.
- Cortenstaal mag niet constant in het vocht staan.
- Wij raden cortenstaal af binnen een straal van 2 km van een kustlijn.
- Tijdens het roestproces kan roestwater van het product afkomen.
