De focus van de SilverMate Next generation is gericht op 4 eigenschappen die minstens gelijk zijn aan de bekendste A-merken:
- Met geringe aanzetdruk gaat de SilverMate Next generation schroef vanaf de eerste omwentelingen in het hout. Met name bij schroeven met een type 17 freespunt is daar vaak veel meer druk voor nodig.
- SilverMate Next generation schroeven breken duidelijk minder snel af bij hoge schroeftol belasting. Diameter 4.0, 4.5 en 5.0 zijn versterkt.
- SilverMate Next generation schroeven draaien merkbaar lichter in dan bijna alle andere merken die in de markt te koop zijn. Vooral bij de langere maten in 5.0 en 6.0 diameter is de indraaiweerstand 25-30 % lager.
- SilverMate Next generation schroeven hebben door de speciale milling thread bij de punt, een laag splijtrisico wanneer de schroef nabij het kopse einde van een plank of lat wordt gebruikt.

If the set screws were white the shelves would be perfect.

I'd give 4 1/2 if there was one. The shelves thwmself are nice I just don't like the visible little black set screws. The shelves themself look great and are not wobbly at all if you install correctly. I purposely installed the bracket upside down because of the little black setting screws; I didnt want them showing because the shelves are above eye level and the screws are black and I didn't want them showing. But that made the shelf lean amd wobbly so I turned them back over the way they are supposed to be and that made them level and sturdy. I guess I'll paint the little screws.

Great small hanging shelf
These were a great addition to my DYI bathroom remodel. I needed that exact length and it fit perfect for my needs and I was able to install it myself. I’m a 53-year-old woman. I used the other one for a shelf for a candle as well. It holds my oral hygiene caddy well, keeping my sink counter clean.
