Blue Sky Inn maakt zijn shirts in organische viscose uit Italië en laat ze in Italië produceren. Dat is de basis. Wat het merk ermee doet is een eigen taal die ergens tussen souvenir, resort en late-nacht samenkomt: prints die iets vertellen over een plek die misschien niet bestaat maar die iedereen herkent. De Night Palms Camp Shirt is zwart met een all-over palmprint en het Blue Sky Inn logo in blauw cursief script dat op meerdere plekken over de stof is herhaald, een grafisch ontwerp dat in het donker nog werkt door het contrast van blauw en groen op zwart.

De shirt is gemaakt van 100% organic viscose met een lichte satinafwerking die de print zijn saturatie en diepte geeft. Camp collar, knoopsluiting over het volledige voorpand, korte mouwen, zij-slits aan de zoom en een rechtgehemde pasvorm die buiten de broek wordt gedragen. Een borstzak aan de linkerkant. Gemaakt in Italië, recycled plastic knoopjes.

De pasvorm is oversized en valt ruim op maat. Draag de Blue Sky Inn Night Palms Camp Shirt zwart open over een wit T-shirt of gesloten als enig bovenstuk met een zwarte of beige broek. De viscose valt soepel en draagt licht, ook bij warmte.

Because of that I’d be conservative with sizing because they do stretch significantly when you wear them. I got these in the lighter blue, too. The darker wash is slightly smaller and I wound up liking the color better, too. But the light wash is nice.

Purchased the “cropped” length. I am 5ft 3.5 inch. Weight 170lbs (42 inch hip/38 inch waist) normally wear a size 10/12 or 31 in jeans, depending on the brand. I ordered up at 14 for these based on other reviewers. (When held up to other jeans they were the same as a Talbots 10 at the waist) Prewash they felt good, a little big& length hit at the top of my foot. After wash and dry, the fit was almost perfect and the length was at lower ankle. Ordering up is probably the right choice, although I think I could have been comfortable in a 12 (with no drying). They are a tad bit too long for a “cropped” look IMO. The wide leg is a true wide leg and falls straight from the waist. The material is heavy and there is almost no give/stretch - so a traditional denim. This is the dark blue and it is a true dark blue. You can’t beat the price, excellent value.
