Staven van thermisch verzinkt ijzerdraad met een witte PET coating. Door het coating procedé heeft de PET laag een veel betere hechting dan normaal geplastificeerde draad, waardoor deze uitermate geschikt is voor buigen en knippen. Doordat wij deze draad op staven richten is er een hogere kwaliteit nodig dan hekwerk kwaliteit, zijnde dat bij onze draad de huls vast zit aan de kern. De PET laag bied goede bescherming tegen corrosie en daar om goed toepasbaar in tuinen voor o.a. plantgeleiders, planten steunen, tuinafscheidingen, hobbytoepassingen. Tevens wordt deze draad veel gebruikt voor het ophangen van schilderijen etc. Om de niet gecoate uiteinden van de staaf ook tegen corrosie te beschermen, kunt u deze behandelen met zinkspray.

    I love the look of these. Bought for towel storage over my toilet. They look really classy and I'm so happy with them. However, its important to note that the wall anchors they provide are way too big for the screws. The screws just fall into the inside of the anchor without even being screwed in. So there's no way you could secure the wall unit with the ones provided. We had to replace the anchors with some I already had. Other than that very happy with the quality and look.

    This shelf system is an awesome option if you're looking for an industrial/rustic vibe. It's feels super well made and was easy to assemble. The finish on the wood is fantastic! All the hardware for mounting was there and even if you have minimal experience mounting brackets and hardware to the wall - this was still very easy. I especially appreciated the "U" brackets to secure the wood shelves to the posts - that was an unexpected extra that I was very happy to see included. Unfortunately because of space and the way my wife wanted these spaced, we didn't use the third shelf, but we're definitely going to find some place else in the house to mount that later. Overall, if you like this decor - I would definitely recommend this item!

    Sturdy, Be mindful if a few things in advance

    Good quality. The black pipe compliments our decorating style so we are over all pleased. Be mindful of the following: - Needs a little bit of expertise in making sure all the flanges line up and are level/plumb. - Even if/when you pre assemble tubing according to printed instructions, the shelving won't line up and some connection parts will have to be loosened to line up. - I consider us (me & the hubs) little above average when it comes to DIY but this took some figuring out and cooperation during installation because we decided to align the holes on the flanges up with our studs to enforce the holding strength (for weight of books and family photo albums/picture boxes). This choice was prompted by the poor quality of plastic drywall anchors included with the product. Now that I have installed one, I will customize next time with more height (to accommodate taller children's books that don't fit the current set up) and a bit deeper (to accommodate a 12 inch shelf/wood insert). Aesthetically, it will not accommodate a book taller than about 9 inches. Our photo albums range up to 15 inches and because the shelving depth from back wall to front of wood shelf is about 12 inches, it hangs over the front too much to look balanced. With the current set up, I'm limited with what can be placed on the shelves - size wise. While this does not have anything to do with the quality of the product, you may not know to consider these aspects in advance so thats why I include it in my review.
