Let op!: Bij levering is er over de gehele lengte van de STAS multirail zaaghout geplaatst. Dit is bedoeld voor wanneer de rail nog op maat moet worden gezaagd. Het op maat zagen moet te allen tijde worden gedaan met het zaaghout nog in de rail! Dit om te voorkomen dat de koperen elektriciteitsdraad tijdens het zagen beschadigt of uit de kunststof insert rolt. Na het zagen, of wanneer de STAS multirail al op de juiste maat is, kan deze houten strip gemakkelijk verwijderd worden.
