Onze favoriete nieuwe rosé deze zomer (2025)! Afkomstig van het zonnige Corsica, niet ver weg van de Provence, maar dit heeft vrij weinig te maken met klassieke Provence-rosé. Integendeel, in plaats van de bleke zalmroze versies van het vast land is dit juist een hele donkere, bíjna licht rood. Gemaatk van de lokale Niellucciu druif, de Corsicaanse naam voor Sangiovese. En dat geeft pit, kruidigheid, vers rood fruit en met de ziltigheid van het terroir van Patrimonio. 95% direct geperst sap en 5% van de druiven laten inweken voor één nacht. Drink 'm snel voordat we zelf alles hebben opgedronken deze zomer!

In het prachtige landschap van Patrimonio, Corsica ligt Clos Marfisi. Patrimonio beschikt over een mediterraan klimaat een zeer bijzonder terroir van klei, kalk, schiste en alluvium waar geweldige terroir wijnen gemaakt kunnen worden. De AOC beslaat 400 hectare waarvan de helft behoort tot de twee grootste producenten van het eiland en de andere helft is verdeeld over 30 kleinere telers. Clos Marfisi beschikt over 15 hectare, verspreid over de op het zuiden en oosten georiënteerde, steile hellingen van Ravagnola, Gritole en Grotte di Sole.
In 1870 vond de aller eerste oogst plaats en nu, vijf generaties later, staan broer en zus Mathieu en Julie aan het roer van dit landgoed. Ze hebben het overgenomen van hun vader, Touissant, die zich altijd verre van pesticides en andere bestrijdingsmiddelen heeft gehouden, in tegenstelling tot vele andere wijnboeren in het gebied die toen wel de overstap maakte. Julie en Mathieu werken net als hun vader volledig biologisch en ontvingen in 2018 ook het Bio keurmerk. Daarnaast werken ze nog steeds met dezelfde stokken die hun vader 40-50 jaar eerder heeft aangelegd van enkel lokale druivensoorten. Ook in de wijnkelder worden enkel inheemse gisten gebruikt en wordt er met zo min mogelijk sulfiet gebotteld. En dat moet ook wel, Mathieu is voorzitter van de AOC Patrimonio en voert hierin een belangrijk voorbeeld voor de lokale wijnbouw, waarin hij ernaar streeft het verleden te eren en tegelijkertijd en verantwoord en progressief toonbeeld voor de toekomst te creëren.

Premium wrist rest for a premium price

Does as described. I replaced my old stationary gel wrist pad with this. There is an adjustment period to get used to laying your wrist back into it after typing but I can definitely say my wrist isn't as sore nor has that tingly carpal tunnel sensation came back after a heavy gaming session. Glides pretty smoothly on my mousepad but I'm not sure how it is on cloth pads. Worth the investment if you have the money to spend on it. Also the packaging definitely feels luxurious.

Beautiful design, noticeably less wrist pain

-Packaging:
Simply amazing. The packaging material was great and the box has a nice sliding mechanism. Thoughtful.
The box comes with instructions, a bunch of QR codes on the box for more details, and a nice carrying case.
-The item:
Very low profile and gorgeous design. The item is made of durable material. The 'cushions' on the top side are very comfy, especially around the areas of the wrist that will carry most of your hand's weight. The bottom is designed so that your hand can glide along with your mouse with minimal friction (using with fabric mouse pad).
-Uses:
1. Work: it is a must-have if you have an office job. I have been using mine for a few days at work and I feel much less pain in my wrist.
2. Gaming: It does get a while to get used to it, but after a while the movement becomes natural and you won't notice the Carpio
Just like with using it for work, you will not feel wrist pain after long gaming sessions.
I believe my aim in fps games got just a bit better while using the item. Or hey, sometimes my opponent is just not having a really good day.
Cons:
1. A bit overpriced. It may have taken a lot of research and design to come up with the product, but I would have been a lot happier if I had paid just a little less for the product. However, it does beat the competition in both, design and comfort.
2. Using the Carpio is pleasant most of the time, as long as your hand does not leave it, but as soon as you lift your hand off the Carpio it takes too long to find the sweet spot again. The box says it would take two weeks to get used to using the product and I'm only in my first week. I think this will change the more I get used to using the product.
3. For con reasons 1 & 2 above, I think it would not be a good idea to have two Carpios (right-handed and left-handed) to use with the keyboard
Overall, I do recommend this product and love using it so far for work and gaming, but I rated it 4/5 only because of how I feel about the price.

Elevates your wrist

This is a great tool. No wrist pain day 1. It elevates your wrist to level with the mouse so there’s no backward strain. Takes a little getting use to but well worth no pain.

It's hard af.

Edit: just realized Amazon sent me a left handed one!
I got this one and the g2 or whatever with the strap. The g2 is great. This one is hard though. The edges of the rest thingy. And the edges in the middle where it splits are annoying. Idk if it's a difference in the rubber pads or what. Even if this works for wrist pain, it's not worth it for the palm discomfort.
