In de theatervoorstelling ‘Weg Uit De Stad’, naar hun gelijknamige debuut-album uit 2015, gaat Op Zoek Naar Johan weg uit de stad op zoek naar verhalen. Op zoek naar de liefde, naar een bankje in de zon, naar rust en een eigen plek. In een poging om even te ontsnappen uit de graaicultuur keren zij terug naar het zuiden, terug naar de roots en ontmoeten daarbij Toos, Berrie, Bram en vele anderen.
