Crackle kwarts is verhitte bergkristal. Door het kristal op een gecontroleerde manier te verhitten, ontstaan er fijne barstjes (krakken) aan de binnenkant van de steen. Deze barstjes breken het licht op een unieke manier, waardoor er kleurrijke regenboogreflecties verschijnen zodra er licht op valt een prachtig natuurlijk effect dat elke toren uniek maakt.
