Het ligvlak is afgewerkt met oliebestendig vinyl, zodat olie, vet en werkplaatsvuil na gebruik eenvoudig te verwijderen zijn. Voor extra ondersteuning tijdens het werken is het monteursbed voorzien van een gevoerd hoofdkussen.


Met de grote zwenkwielen van diameter 127 mm is het monteursbed eenvoudig onder en rond het voertuig te verplaatsen. Door het gewicht van 12 kg is de ligkar gemakkelijk te hanteren bij verplaatsen en opbergen.
