Tenuta di Arceno is al meer dan duizend jaar een centrum voor wijnproductie en landbouw. Het landgoed is gelegen nabij de splitsing van twee rivieren: de Ambra, die naar Florence stroomt, en de Ombrone, die naar de Middellandse Zee stroomt. In de oudheid was dit gebied een samenhang tussen de Etruskische beschaving. Ter ere van zijn geschiedenis komt de naam Arceno van het Etruskische woord Archè, wat "oorsprong" betekent. Sinds 1994 is het prachtige wijnhuis in handen van de familie Jackson die veel heeft geïnvesteerd om het beste uit de ranken te halen. Alle Sangiovese druiven worden met de hand geoogst in de speciale wijngaard, dit geschiet vorige in de ochtend als de druiven nog liggen te slapen. Want dan is het beste moment om te starten met het oogsten. Tros voor tros wordt gecontroleerd want enkel de beste trossen worden verwerkt in deze rode wijn. In kleine kratjes worden ze vervoerd naar de pers van Tenuta di Arcen. Na persing en vergisting ondergaat deze Strada Al Sasso een houtlagering van wel twaalf maanden op Franse eiken houten vaten. Een heel groot gedeelte van de gebruikte vaten is nieuw en dat geeft hem zijn kracht en finesse. In de geur heeft hij indrukken van onker fruit, donker gebrande koffiebonen en viooltjes. De smaak is krachtig en brengt ons als wijnliefhebber naar en hoogte punt. Veel fruit tonen zoals gedroogde pruimen en kruidigheid van nootmuskaat, aarde, natte leisteen. De mooie vriendelijke tannines geven deze rode wijn een breed en fijn mondgevoel.Shipping Notes

Delivered as pictured and described. I was a bit concerned because of the super low price, thinking maybe it was a discontinued model due to problems but we've had good experiences with Belkin products so I went with this one...
When facing it plugged into the outlet, the cord does lean right as advertised. Length is also correct. True white, not an almond color, so it looks nice with white outlet and carpet where visible.
The switch is effectively placed on the end where the cord comes out so it's harder to accidentally switch off. Also it lights up on top to indicate green for protected or red for not grounded.
Also designed for a phone line on the opposite end but we haven't had use for that where we are using this surge protector. Will update this review should we utilize that feature or have any issues.

All in One; Power Strip & Surge Protector
The Tripp-Lite Protect It Surge Suppressor is definitely the All in One tool for the job.
This power strip surge protector features seven handy outlets; number seven (at the end) is a wider plug surrounding that works wonders for plugging in that bulky AC adaptors that tend to take up so much space otherwise.
Its twelve foot cord allows easy extending that is almost as large as most rooms.
The red on/off tap button glows a pretty reddish/orange when lit, but does tap on and off rather easily, so it's best to either mount it on the wall or low on the wall/floor molding, or have it somewhere where the button will not be easily tapped, otherwise everything goes off.
The little Green LED light at the top of the switch ensures you that everything is in working order.
We had a pretty bad electrical storm not long after ordering this product and when all of the other lights in the house dimmed, the Television set didn't flicker, so at $21 dollars, I feel that it has already paid for itself.
One last note, for all those who are concerned with having only, or prefer, "Green" products, this power strip is ROHS Compliant; meaning it meets all requirements under the California Compliance Code.

BEST Surge Protector

Bought this based on so many rave reviews. I agree -- really great product. Nice long, thick cord and has 7 outlets, so I can plug in a lamp and all the "doodads" from my power recliner (power pack, remote, etc.) with ease. Slimline design makes it look nice, not bulky. Will DEFINITELY buy Tripp surge protectors from now on --- worth the money --- a great product !!!

Only get Automatic Shutoff surge protectors!

Surge protectors should STOP working once the surge protection is used up. These are among the few that operate like this. Always look for this feature, as surge protectors often wind up sitting under a desk for years. When it stops functioning as a surge protector, why would you want it to continue functioning as a passthrough power strip? There's no more protection. This line of Tripp Lite surge protectors function properly, and STOP working when it can no longer function as a surge protector.
