Puppy's ontdekken de wereld met hun bek. Hierdoor knabbelen en kauwen ze op bijna alles wat ze tegenkomen. Het kauwen op een kauwsnack geeft maar kort plezier: jouw pup zal het zo opgegeten hebben. De Puppy Starterkit zal jouw pup veel langer bezig houden! De speelkluiven in deze set zijn gemaakt van hoogwaardig nylon en slijten langzaam bij intensief kauwen. Hierdoor gaan ze lang mee en zijn ze erg duurzaam. Zodra de kluif zo klein geworden is dat het ingeslikt zou kunnen worden, is het aan vervanging toe.
De Starterkit bestaat uit drie verschillende kluiven. De bruine kluif is zacht maar stevig, waardoor het perfect is voor het melkgebit. Wanneer de eerste tand van het volwassen gebit doorkomt, kan je jouw kleine vriend het blauwe kluifje aanbieden. Deze is iets zachter, wat fijn is tijdens het wisselen. Het witte kluifje is het hardst in deze Starterkit en geschikt als het wisselen (bijna) voorbij is.
Tijdens het kauwen op de Nylabone kluifjes ontstaat een ruw oppervlak. Dit ruwe oppervlak helpt bij het tegengaan van tandplak en tandsteen. Bij het kauwen komen schraapsels van de kluif af. Deze schraapsels worden niet in het lichaam opgenomen en zullen via de natuurlijke weg het lichaam weer verlaten.
Deze Starterkit is geschikt voor puppy's die, op een volwassen leeftijd, tussen de 11 kg en ongeveer 16 kg zullen wegen. Door de kipsmaak is het de ideale combinatie tussen speeltje en kauwbot.

Comfy slippers!

My dog eats a lot of things she shouldn’t but she hasn’t eaten the slipper yet. She loves the slipper almost as much as she loves rocks. Rocks are forbidden so we’ve convinced her the slipper is just as forbidden so she holds the slipper in her mouth instead of rocks when we’re on our walks. It’s very soft and it makes for a great hat to cover her snoot indoors. We’ve replaced the first slipper because she likes destroying the squeakers. She hasn’t been able to rip it out the squeaker or tear the slipper, but she isn’t too big on ripping things open unless they’re loaded with fluff. I guess we have a pair of slippers now.

This $6 toy cost more than $1 per minute.

For while it lasted, this toy was very fun for my 6 month old puppy! She had fun tossing it in the air and chasing it when it landed! Unfortunately, it was not very durable. The chewability is low. She had this toy for less than five minutes and I saw the polyester fill stuffing sticking out of her mouth. I have no issue with the size nor the color as they were as described. This is definitely not a good value for your money. On a side note, Ceci is not a destructive pup. She has toys from the day I brought her home four months ago that she has not torn up nor destroyed. She has $4 toys from a big box store that remain in tact to this day as well.

Not for aggressive chewers!

I purchased two of these for my 10 month old Chug puppy. She very easily tore through the fleece and got to the poly fill stuffing...it barely lasted an hour. It may be great as a cuddle buddy for younger and low-enery pups, but I would not recommend for aggressive chewers.

Takes a beating - looks like new!

EDITED AGAIN, 12/28/22:
My boy still has his original blue one of these and the yellow one from way back. He's received a couple more over the years which he's managed to sneak out of the house and lose - evidently neighbor dogs or perhaps foxes, etc love them, too, and carry them off?! At any rate, he'd managed to get himself back to his original two, so I bought him a late Christmas present of a new yellow bone. He just opened the package (with help, of course - he's smart, but lacks the necessary opposing thumbs to do it on his own) and he was ecstatic! He reached into the mailing envelope, grabbed it, gave it a couple of triumphant tosses then ran for his bed, pulled a blanket in, and has been chewing, fighting with, burying in the blanket and "discovering" it for about a half hour now! I don't know what the attraction is, but he still loves these things and they're still lasting! The only other toys that have lasted more than a day are Nylabones (because he won't even look at them, let alone touch them) and a set of interlocked skinny rubber rings that he's not at all interested in, but if I ask about them, he'll move them around the room for a couple of days to make me feel better! LOL
EDITED TO ADD 2022:
Here I am, back 5 1/2 years later to say my dog STILL has this bone and makes use of it a couple of times a week. And he still loves it and sleeps with it. He has gone through a couple of the smaller version (yellow instead of blue) over this time frame because those get constant use. But that’s amazing in itself!! These are still the only toy I would call indestructible.
Great toy! I have a dachshund who destroys toys in record time. I can hear the amused chuckles now, but anyone who has seen him in action (including rottie, pit bull and Doberman owners) is in awe. He is very methodical and relentless - the mad genius of dog toy torture! Small and quiet but utterly ruthless.
Anyway...my boy has been working on this since the beginning of October and the thing looks like new! I think you can see one tooth mark, otherwise it looks untouched! This is a dog who can reduce Kongs and other rubber toys to a pile of chunks in minutes.
But he also LOVES it - carries it around, brings it into his bed at night to sleep, and when his doxie brother (who is far too dignified to do dog toys) doesn't feel well, it is offered up as a "feel better" snuggly...for about 2 minutes. But it's the thought that counts, right?
I don't know what makes this so attractive to my mini-Jaws and so long-lasting, but it works!
