Terwijl ze worstelt met de steeds knellender greep van een lockdown, een huwelijk dat in crisis verkeert en een tienjarige zoon die steeds verder lijkt af te drijven, raakt ze geobsedeerd door onze vele vormen van divinatie: door orakels, tarotkaarten en theeblaadjes, en de vragen die we ons altijd al hebben gesteld terwijl we scrollen en klikken en ons met alle macht verzetten tegen ons lot. Daarbij ontgaat haar dat de toekomst haar eigen huis binnendringt. Want ondanks onze beste bedoelingen – de offers en onze dealtjes met de goden – kunnen tijd, zekerheid en soms ook degenen van wie we houden, ons nog steeds ontglippen... Intelligent en onheilspellend, hilarisch en vlijmscherp, Delphi is niet zomaar een momentopname maar een tijdcapsule, die op behendige wijze verleden en heden vastlegt en laat zien hoe we maar doorgaan in een wereld die steeds onzekerder en absurder wordt.

Incredibly hydrating but unbearable scent.

I love all Avène skin barrier creams, recovery lotions and i just purchased this "Hydrance" cream. Texture is nice, it's unbelievably hydrating but the scent is overwhelming. It caused me a headache. So I decided to return it. Then I thought I'll give it another try and Oh my.... For the love of God, remove that awful scent. The reason I love Avène product is because theyre unscented, except this one I guess :/

Really happy with this umbrella base so far. It feels sturdy and well-made, especially once filled—it definitely has the weight to keep my umbrella in place, even on windy days.
The wheels are a huge plus. I can move it around the patio without struggling, which makes adjusting for shade super easy. The square design also looks clean and doesn’t take up too much space.

Easy rolling base

I purchased the umbrella base to enabling the ability to hold our umbrella and easy maneuver the umbrella on a paver patio. The base supported the umbrella and rolled sufficiently on the paver surface. However I did have an issue when readying the base for storage that the plastic umbrella pole support caused a black staining liquid on the pavers when it spilled on the patio
