Franz is een wo1 veteraan die vanaf 1939 diende in diverse pionier kompagnien, onder andere bij Infanterie regiment 182 en 358. Hij treedt uit dienst 30-04-1940 als lid van Pionier ersatz kompagnie 368.

1-mei 1943 en 29-maart 1944 wordt hij weer opgeroepen en wordt waarschijnlijk ingedeeld bij de 48 infanterie divisie. Vanuit die divisie komt hij terecht bij 3./ XIV Bad.- volkssturm Bataillon, Hij overleeft de oorlog en is tot waarschijnlijk 1946 in dienst als electricien in het Franse leger!

I was blessed to read a free copy of the ebook but I’ve already purchased my own paper copy of the book so I can make notes and refer back to it more easily.
