Je legt de folie eenvoudig over je grond en maakt op de gewenste plekken gaten om je zaailingen of plantjes erin te zetten. Door de folie goed te bevestigen met bijvoorbeeld grondpennen, blijft deze stevig liggen, ook bij wind of regen.

Wat deze mulchfolie extra bijzonder maakt, is dat hij volledig biologisch afbreekbaar is. Gemaakt van natuurlijke materialen zoals maïs- en aardappelzetmeel, breekt hij na 6 maanden vanzelf 100% af in de bodem (het proces begint vanaf 3 maanden). De folie leidt tot geen restmateriaal, zorgt niet voor bodemvervuiling en is niet toxisch.
