De eerste aroma's in de neus zijn van framboos, wilde aardbeien, roze grapefruit. acaciabloesem en pioenroos met een vleugje anijs en munt. Na een tijdje ademhalen, onthult de wijn geuren van zwarte bes, perzik, passievrucht en een bedwelmende geur van rozen in combinatie met romig krijt, gepelde amandelen en zoethout.
In de mond is de eerste sensatie soepel en fris met een zacht en romig bruisend effect gevolgd door een zachte, vlezige fruitigheid ondersteund door de scherpe citrusgraad. Het midden palette is rond met een minerale kwaliteit die zowel krijtachtig als mergel naar voren laat komen en die in de breedte, fruitigheid en een duidelijke crisp heeft in combinatie met zout en lengte in de mond. Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it!
Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex.
Definitely recommend.

Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. A good read

Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
