Rondje het stadje Gavi in de regio Piëmonte vinden we de coöperatie Produttori del Gavi. Met zo’n 100 wijnboeren die zijn aangesloten bezitten vele van de beste wijngaarden in deze streek. Alles draait om samenwerking, kwaliteit en het hoog houden van de naam Gavi. De Gavi di Gavi wijnen worden gemaakt van de inheemse Cortese druif. De druif krijgt dankzij de unieke grondsoort in dit gebied zijn unieke aroma’s. De bodem bestaat namelijk uit klei met intens witte kalkhoudende grond. Dit zorgt voor bijzondere eigenschappen die karakteristiek zijn voor deze streek. Daarnaast liggen de wijngaarden op een hoogte van 250 tot 300 meter. Dit in combinatie met de frisse wind van de nabijgelegen Ligurische Zee zorgt ervoor dat de temperatuur stabiel blijft. De Cortese druiven worden als ze volledig rijp zijn met de hand geoogst. Vrijwel direct worden ze naar de wijnmakerij vervoerd waar ze onsteeld en zacht geperst worden. Hierop volgt de vergisting die zo’n 20 dagen duurt bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur. Deze vergisting vindt volledig plaats in roestvrijstalen vaten. Hierna blijft de wijn nog drie maanden rijpen op de droesem. Een strogele en kleur in het glas met hier en daar wat groene glinsteringen. Zo verschijnt deze Gavi Gavi del Comune di Gavi in het glas. De aroma’s komen direct bij het inschenk vrij. Perzik, banaan en peer overheersen op een zeer prettige manier. Een fijne geur wat al enigszins de smaak doet vermoeden. Vers, gestructureerd en zacht in de mond. I didn’t realize how much I needed a kitchen scale until I got this. It’s really accurate and makes cooking (especially baking) so much easier and more consistent.

Food scale

This product is worth the price. The only thing is that it kind of doesn’t work sometimes when you are trying to switch the unit and you might have to double click (as shown in my video) other than that the product works perfect for measuring my food and even my liquids. It’s the perfect size not too big and bulky but it also isn’t that small. As you can see in my picture it’s small enough to fit in my drawer (I don’t like to leave it on my counter) it’s a tiny bit bigger than an Alexa.i also like that the price isn’t to high . I would definitely recommend this product! It’s a sturdy product it doesn’t move when you’re putting any items on it. It’s easy to clean off as well. Another thing is it takes batteries ( it takes AAA batteries, just 2 of them) and I liked how it came with batteries inside of them already .
