De bodem is van een zogeheten "sandwich" constructie. Dat wil zeggen dat het een aluminium bodem is omhuld met roestvrij staal. De zijkanten zijn mat gepolijst en hebben een glanzende rand (behalve de maten boven 32cm). Alle pannen zijn voorzien van koudgreep handvaten en een schenkrand. Steelpannen hebben een hol handvat.

De pannenserie 2200 van Contacto is geschikt voor elke warmtebron en voldoet aan alle kwaliteitseisen die er van verawcht worden. De bodem is van een zogeheten "sandwich" constructie. This was the second time I’d used this product and this shipment was not like the first order I’d gotten. This one had the texture of pudding and there was no way you could walk outside and be seen in public after applying it. It looked like mud smeared all over your body. You had to put it on at night wake up in the morning and shower, and most of it came off. You also had to clean your sheets because it was on everything you touched. This batch was complete garbage and a total waste of my money!
