In de stof zijn keramische deeltjes verwerkt die de lichaamswarmte van het paard reflecteren. Dit zorgt voor een aangenaam verwarmend effect en kan bijdragen aan het verminderen van ontstekingsreacties en het stimuleren van de bloedsomloop. De kous kan voor en/of na training worden gebruikt en is speciaal ontworpen met een extra lengte, zodat ook de knie van het voorbeen goed bedekt wordt. De kous kan los gedragen worden, maar ook in combinatie met stalbeschermers of bandages voor extra ondersteuning. Dankzij de volledige rits aan de zijkant is de kous eenvoudig aan en uit te trekken. Een bandje aan de bovenkant voorkomt dat de rits open gaat en dat de kous naar beneden zakt. De glad afgewerkte naden verminderen wrijving en helpen schuurplekken rond de kogel en het bovenbeen te voorkomen, waardoor de kous comfortabel blijft tijdens gebruik.
