Om de impact van deze ruwheid te minimaliseren, zijn er de GOLD snijwieltjes.Elke wieltje wordt op een unitaire manier geslepen, zodat elke diameter een insnijdingshoek heeft volgens zijn functie en gebruik.Het aanbevolen gebruik van de RUBI GOLD wieltjes is het snijden van geglazuurd steengoed (BIIa / BIb), rustiek of geëxtrudeerd steengoed (AIIa / AIb) en porseleinen steengoed (BIa) met een gladde en/of niet erg ruwe afwerking.De GOLD versie verhoogt de natuurlijke slijtvastheid van het wolfraamcarbide, door middel van een titanium coating.
