Louis Latour Bourgogne Rouge Chameroy 2022 is een klassieke rode Bourgogne van Pinot Noir, samengesteld uit druiven uit de Côte Chalonnaise en het zuiden van de Côte de Beaune. Deze herkomst geeft de wijn een toegankelijke maar herkenbaar Bourgondische stijl, met fijne geur, zwarte bessen en genoeg structuur om nog wat extra diepte te ontwikkelen op fles. Chameroy is op dronk, maar wie hem nog 1 of enkele jaren bewaart, krijgt meer ontwikkeling in geur en smaak.

Wijngaarden en regio

Bourgogne Rouge Chameroy komt uit 2 zuidelijker delen van Bourgogne waar Pinot Noir een fruitige en elegante stijl kan geven.

• Ligging / Herkomst: De druiven komen uit de Côte Chalonnaise en het zuiden van de Côte de Beaune. Deze combinatie brengt de verfijning van Bourgogne samen met iets meer rondeur en toegankelijkheid.

• Regio: De Côte Chalonnaise ligt ten zuiden van de Côte de Beaune en staat bekend om Pinot Noir met sappigheid, frisheid en een vriendelijker karakter dan veel wijnen uit de beroemdste dorpen van de Côte d’Or.

• Wijnselectie: Chameroy is opgebouwd uit verschillende Pinot Noir percelen. Daardoor draait de wijn niet om 1 afzonderlijke wijngaard, maar om een evenwichtige Bourgogne Rouge met herkenbare Louis Latour stijl.

Druivensamenstelling

Deze rode Bourgogne wordt gemaakt van Pinot Noir, de klassieke blauwe druif van Bourgogne.

• Pinot Noir – Bourgogne: Pinot Noir geeft Bourgogne Rouge Chameroy zijn fijne geur, elegante structuur en aroma’s van zwarte bessen. De druif staat bekend om zijn verfijning en lichte tannines, waardoor de wijn soepel drinkt maar toch duidelijk karakter heeft.

Vinificatie en rijping

Bij Chameroy ligt de nadruk op fruit, finesse en drinkbaarheid, met ruimte voor korte verdere ontwikkeling op fles.

• Flesrijping: De wijn is nu op dronk, maar 1 of enkele jaren flesrijping kan de geur en smaak meer diepte geven. Daardoor wordt het zwarte bessenfruit zachter en krijgt de wijn meer afgeronde Bourgondische ontwikkeling.

Proefnotities en serveertips

Bourgogne Rouge Chameroy 2022 heeft een fijne geur met tonen van zwarte bessen. De smaak is soepel, elegant en toegankelijk, met de frisse spanning die Pinot Noir uit Bourgogne zo aantrekkelijk maakt. De wijn eindigt verfijnd en fruitig, met genoeg diepte voor een brede inzetbaarheid aan tafel.

• Serveertemperatuur: Serveer deze Bourgogne Rouge licht gekoeld op 14–15 °C, zodat het zwarte bessenfruit fris blijft en de elegante structuur mooi naar voren komt.

• Gerechten: Goed bij geroosterde of gebakken vis, rood vlees, wild, gevogelte en kazen. Ook als Verre d’Amitié, een gezellig glas om samen te drinken, past deze Chameroy uitstekend.

My kitchen theme is pink and this was a perfect addition! Until it wasn’t! Fully charged it, and placed it in its holder ready for use the next morning. From my living room I heard a noise but of course blamed it on Rita (my cat). The next morning I go to make my coffee and the device is knocked over on the counter and of course.. poor Rita! The device worked fine, didn’t send my coffee into a tornado like some do, rinsed and placed in holder. I run to turn it off but it stopped before I can get there. Ok, let’s not panic. Next morning? Device is dead. So I recharge, and lay it on the counter buttons up. Later that night minding my own business, the device is now rattling across the counter!!! Ran over to it, pushed the buttons and it won’t stop! After about 45 seconds it stopped. I recharge again because it died, and the sad thing is still asystolic.. (no pulse), dead, gone. What the??? So I don’t know what to tell you! It looks pretty! Updated: The company reached out to me and I received a replacement within 2-3 weeks. The new one is not possessed or dancing across the counter. Good power, 3 speeds, 2 attachments (which I seem to use without the power - such as mixing spices). Thank you for standing behind your product in a volatile economic time.
