De naalddruk voor de "normale" hoogcompliante Shure N-97 naalden met een "Dynamic Stabilizer Brush" is instelbaar tussen 1,5 en 2gram, optimum 1,75gram. Zonder brush is de optimale naalddruk 0.5gram lager, dus 1,25gram. (instelbaar tussen 1 en 1,5gram)

Voor de oorspronkelijke, 1e generatie Amerikaanse Shure M97 elementen (Dus niet voor de XE-versie) zijn nog de volgende naalden leverbaar voor toepassing in "fatsoenlijke platenspelers met een goede tonearm":

  • De standaard sferische coverversie onder nummer 400901
  • De elliptisch geslepen high-grade coverversie onder nummer 410901
  • De originele elliptisch geslepen uitvoering onder nummer 401301
  • De Hyper-ellips (shibata-like) geslepen "Jico-japan-made" top-uitvoering onder nummer 420901
  • De door Jico/japan gemaakte SAS geslepen "Naked Diamond" super-uitvoering "SAS on Boron" onder nummer 477035.
  • Daarnaast is er nog een "laag-compliante" geslepen coverversie voor toepassing in simpele en/of zware toonarmen. Deze naald heeft een hogere benodigde naalddruk, dus meer plaatslijtage. Artikelnummer 401300.

 

Het enorme wereldwijde tekort aan elliptische (in model geperste) diamanttips voor pickupnaalden heeft een grote Japanse fabrikant aangezet tot het maken van elliptisch geslepen high-grade diamant-uitvoeringen, met nog betere prestaties. Deze komen medio juli bij ons binnen. (IJs & Weder dienende !) Ze kunnen eventueel al worden besteld en worden dan direct na binnenkomst uitgeleverd. Comforter is nice, sheets are alright. Color is true!

This is a decent comforter set. The actual comforter isn’t too heavy, and would be perfect spring through fall in the Midwest. It’s a true queen size fit and the burnt orange color looks as it does in the photos. I ordered these before it mentioned they’re polyester. They definitely don’t feel as breathable as cotton sheets but as far polyester goes, they feel soft. The sheets wrinkle easily but the comforter feels durable. If you’re looking for an affordable sheet set and you’re cool with polyester, this is a good option. Also of note is that 2 of the pillow cases have a little extra fabric on the outer rim to look more “decorative.”
