Cascara, ook wel bekend als koffiekers, is de vrucht van de koffiebes die wordt geoogst nadat de koffiebonen zijn verwijderd. Deze prachtige vrucht wordt vaak over het hoofd gezien, maar herbergt een schat aan smaak en voordelen voor je welzijn. De ruwe en onbewerkte Cascara is de gedroogde bes van Colombiaanse Arabica koffieplanten.

Aroma

Rijke, fruitige geur met tonen van gedroogde pruimen, vijgen en een subtiele honingzoete ondertoon. Een verfijnde complexiteit door de lichte hint van bloesem en kruiden.

Smaak

Een gebalanceerde combinatie van zoete tonen met een klein zuurtje. De bourbon en Geisha geven florale en steenfruit achtige accenten, terwijl de Catura en Colombia zorgen voor een diepe, bessen-zoetheid met lichte chocolade-achtige accenten.
