Met Maluka leg je de laatste hand aan je boho-stijl interieur. De plafondlamp past bijzonder goed in woningen die zijn ingericht in natuurlijke tinten en zijn voorzien van accessoires gemaakt van plantaardige materialen.

Voor de klokvormige lampenkap zijn platgewalste rotanvezels – een uitzonderlijk, zelden gebruikt materiaal dat exclusief voor dit model in ons assortiment wordt gebruikt – in een stevig metalen frame geweven. Het resulterende, luchtige patroon laat aan alle kanten veel licht door en zorgt zo voor een optimale verlichting van uw kamer.

De rotan lamp is verkrijgbaar in twee verschillende maten. Maat S is bijzonder compact en past perfect in kleine kamers of boven je nachtkastje. Maluka wordt geleverd zonder extra accessoires, maar je kunt de juiste lamp en kabel in elke bouwmarkt vinden.

Hoofdmateriaal: rotan

Onze lampenkappen zijn gemaakt van plantaardige vezels. Ze ruiken en voelen daarom heerlijk naar de natuur.

Rotanpalmen groeien meestal in grote aantallen in dichte bossen, waar ze worden beschouwd als invasieve planten, ruimte innemen van andere planten en veel voedingsstoffen uit de bodem halen. De stengels, die zonder chemische toevoegingen snel teruggroeien, moeten regelmatig worden afgesneden en kunnen na het droogproces worden gebruikt als materiaal voor meubels en manden. Dit maakt rotan tot een uiterst duurzaam en ruimschoots verkrijgbaar materiaal.

Bij de selectie van onze lokale producenten hechten wij waarde aan een eerlijk loon en goede arbeidsomstandigheden. In de fabrieken waar we onze goederen kopen, werken we alleen met volwassen en ervaren ambachtslieden. Bij het productieproces worden geen schadelijke chemicaliën gebruikt. Omdat alle werkstappen met de hand worden uitgevoerd, genereert het productieproces nauwelijks uitstoot van broeikasgassen.
