Zonder Vreemde Kostgangers Boudewijn de Groot, Henny Vrienten en George Kooymans zou ons muzieklandschap niet hetzelfde zijn geweest. Voor alle drie geldt dat hun invloed op de Nederpop van ongekende waarde is. De Groot als Nederlands meest iconische singer-songwriter, Vrienten als frontman van Doe Maar, de grootste Nederlandstalige band ooit en Kooymans als gitarist van onze meest succesvolle rockband: Golden Earring. Gezamenlijk trokken de heren de afgelopen maanden langs de Nederlandse theaters als de Vreemde Kostgangers en nu komt er ook een album van deze supergroep aan.
Hun paden kruisten elkaar vaker, maar tot een samenwerking kwam het nooit. Totdat ze een gelegenheidsformatie vormden voor het verjaardagsfeest van Golden Earring-drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk. Dit spontane optreden smaakte naar meer en de heren besloten om gezamenlijk iets te gaan doen. Dat ‘iets’ werd een theatertour en de Vreemde Kostgangers waren een feit. Er werden nieuwe songs geschreven, theaters verkochten uit en met een bijna jongensachtig enthousiasme spatte het plezier van het muziek maken van het podium.
Vlak voor de feestdagen in 2016 werd de tour afgesloten met een opnamesessie in de legendarische Wisseloord Studio’s in Hilversum. Voor een klein gezelschap speelden de Vreemde Kostgangers een speciale set met nieuwe nummers, wat resulteerde in dit album; het debuut van wat met recht een supergroep genoemd kan worden.

Finally a chew toy my aggressive chewer can’t destroy

I’ve gone through countless “indestructible” dog toys that lasted maybe a day—sometimes only minutes. My dog is an aggressive chewer and treats most toys like a personal challenge. These Fuufome chew toys are the real deal.
Right out of the box, you can tell they’re made from tough, high-quality nylon. My dog went to work on them immediately, and days later there’s barely any noticeable wear. No chunks missing, no sharp edges, and no mess on the floor. That alone puts these way above most toys I’ve tried.
I also love that they actually keep my dog busy. Instead of getting bored and looking for something else to chew (like furniture), she’ll settle in and happily gnaw on these for a long time. It’s been great for mental stimulation and for redirecting destructive chewing.
The fact that you get two durable toys in the pack is a bonus, and they’ve held up exactly as advertised. If you have a large breed or an aggressive chewer and you’re tired of wasting money on toys that don’t last, these are absolutely worth it.
Highly recommend—this is one of the few chew toys that has truly lived up to the “indestructible” claim. 🐶💪

Perfect bones for dachshunds

I buy the medium size bones for my dachshund and my daughter’s 3 dachshund. The are a great shape for them to hold in their paws or to play with a second dachshund. They love the smell and taste. The dachshunds are entertained for hours, chewing, carrying and fighting over. The weight is light enough to be easily carried. The bones are durable enough to last a month with vigorous use. The value of play time to cost is good. I buy 4 bones each month for four dachshunds to share.

My older dog (8 years old) loves this one. It’s still tough but has more give than some of the other chew toys. He has an easier time holding this shape in his skinny paws (chihuahau)

Save chew toy.

This small bone has my Maltese dog happy! No rawhide! He loves to gnaw on it in the evening. It also does not leave pieces laying in the carpet or on the floor. he does not eat it at all, just chews on it.
