De District 7 wijnen zijn onderdeel van de Scheid Family Wines. De familie Scheid is sinds 1972 gevestigd in Monterey en weet precies de ideale klimatologische omstandigheden te benutten. Onder deze naam worden nog 4 andere onderscheidende labels uitgebracht. Al met al bezit de familie meer dan 1600 hectare in Salinas vallei. Deze Grown Chardonnay komt van de gecertificeerde duurzame landgoedwijngaarden in de koelere wijnbouwgebieden van Monterey County, waar stevige wind en mistige omstandigheden wijnen produceren met een geweldig karakter, textuur en structuur. De druiven werden in de vroege ochtend geoogst. In de wijnmakerij wordt het fruit in kleine partijen gesorteerd, geplet en koud gefermenteerd. De wijn wordt 10 maanden gerijpt in roestvrijstalen tanks (70 procent) en nieuwe Franse eikenhouten vaten (30 procent) om de frisheid, het variëteit karakter en het terroir te accentueren. De aroma's zijn fris en extravert met tonen van gele appel, peer en citrus, versterkt door hints van kokosnoot, vanille en geroosterd eiken. In de mond is het medium body, zacht en evenwichtig met helder fruit, hints van boter en een aanhoudende subtiele eiken finish. De combinatie van fruit en structuur zorgt ervoor dat deze Chardonnay een breed scala aan gerechten kan begeleiden, van zachte kazen tot geroosterde kip of zeevruchten.Shipping Notes

Beautiful Genuine Leather Tote That Will Age Well

I ordered this SV Retro leather tote in the coffee color, and this is actually my second bag from this brand. I absolutely fell in love with the first smaller purse I tried from them, so I was excited to see how this larger tote version compared.
The leather is the real deal. It has that natural look where you can see the grain and slight variations that tell you it is genuine leather. The bag feels sturdy and well constructed, and the zipper is strong and smooth. It has both a top handle and a removable shoulder strap, which gives you a few ways to carry it.

Inside the bag there are plenty of pockets which makes organizing everything really easy. There is a zip pocket, multiple slot pockets, and plenty of room for everyday items like a wallet, phone, notebook, and even a small laptop.
The only reason I am giving this one four stars is that it is not quite as eye catching as the smaller bag I ordered previously. I feel like a wider guitar style strap would have added a little more personality and comfort to the design. I may actually swap one from another bag to see how it looks.
That said, this is still a beautiful, durable leather tote that feels like it will last for many years. With proper care, this is the kind of bag that will age nicely and develop even more character over time.

Real leather, soft and lightweight

This medium sized leather tote bag is well made, with tight stitching; heavy duty, gunmetal colored hardware; and a thick, dark gray fabric lining on the inside. There are 2 short, rounded handles that do not fold down, and a narrow, flat, detachable crossbody strap that can be adjusted in length. The style is simple and classic, with a hand-dyed brown finish that will go well with most outfits. It's versatile, being suitable for work or everyday use. It can carry a small laptop or tablet, along with other essential items. There are no outside pockets, but inside there are several. The central compartment is spacious, with 2 slip pockets on one side. There are also 2 zippered pockets, with a large open pocket separating them. The top of the bag has a full, metal zipper that seems good quality. This bag is very attractive as well as functional, and though the leather feels lightweight the bag seems durable. Its listed price is a little high for my budget, but a coupon offer currently makes it a good value. I was very surprised that there is no logo or branding of any kind visible on the outside of this bag, and only one name label stitched to a pocket on the inside. Many bags I see have prominent names, symbols, or initials on the outside, and sometimes all over the inside lining as well. The simplicity of this bag is a refreshing change as it lets the quality speak for itself. I like it!
