Blackmagic Fairlight Desktop Console

This compact professional audio surface is designed to streamline Fairlight mixing workflows by bringing the speed and tactility of a traditional console into a desktop‑friendly form factor. It features a familiar mixer layout that lets sound engineers, editors, and small studio operators work across multiple tracks with confidence and precision. A bank of twelve motorized faders provides fluid control with the perfect amount of resistance, allowing extremely subtle adjustments that would be difficult to achieve with a mouse. Each fader channel is paired with a high quality rotary encoder and illuminated buttons so you can quickly identify functions, trigger key operations, and work efficiently under varying lighting conditions. 

Above each channel strip sits an integrated LCD that displays essential information including level indicators, pan position, track names, and more. These displays ensure you remain visually aligned with your session without shifting attention away from the tactile controls. Complementing the fader section is a highly responsive search dial that offers improved navigation and scrubbing compared to standard input devices. This makes locating edits, cue points, and detailed elements within a mix far more intuitive and efficient. 

A built in HDMI output extends the console’s interface to an external monitor. This enables interactive graphical feedback for channels, buses, plug ins, and effects similar to the experience offered by larger modular Fairlight consoles. By pairing physical controls with real time visual detail, the surface creates an environment where users can mix, automate parameters, and shape sound with exceptional speed and accuracy. Its design and components mirror the build quality of Blackmagic’s full size systems, including long‑life precision‑engineered knobs and buttons rated for intensive use.

Connectivity options include USB‑C for computer integration and configuration, Ethernet supporting 10/100/1000 BaseT, and an HDMI Type A port for external display output.
