Michel Chapoutier

Michel Chapoutier is geen doorsnee wijnmaker. Al op 26-jarige leeftijd nam hij het familiebedrijf M. Chapoutier over en besloot hij zijn eigen koers te varen. Voor hem begint de kwaliteit van wijn in de wijngaard, waar hij met zijn terroirwijnen de essentie van iedere plek naar voren brengt. Zijn passie voor natuur en vernieuwing leidde tot een pioniersrol in de biodynamische wijnbouw, waarbij hij uitsluitend natuurlijke middelen gebruikt en rekening houdt met de cycli van de aarde, zon, en maan. Zijn unieke visie inspireert wereldwijd wijnmakers en heeft geleid tot succesvolle samenwerkingen met wijnhuizen over de hele wereld.

Ribera del Duero

Mathilde, die samen met haar broer Maxime betrokken is bij de uitbreiding van het familiebedrijf, ontdekte de wijngaarden van Dominio del Soto en zag meteen het potentieel. Deze 16 hectare wijngaard ligt op hoge, kalkrijke terrassen in Ribera del Duero, waar de hitte van de zomer en de extreme kou van de winter het terroir sterk beïnvloeden. De druiven profiteren van het grote temperatuurverschil tussen dag en nacht, waardoor ze langzaam rijpen en een perfecte balans tussen concentratie en frisheid ontwikkelen.

Biodynamisch

Bij Dominio del Soto wordt volgens biologische principes gewerkt, met als doel een volledig biodynamische werkwijze te hanteren. Mathilde gebruikt lokale druivenrassen en combineert traditionele methoden met moderne technieken om wijnen te maken die de ziel van deze unieke plek weerspiegelen.

Apparently, this blanket is the key to sleep training. If you’re looking for something soft, durable, and genuinely cozy, this is already a great buy. But if you happen to have a toddler resisting bedtime… this might just be your secret weapon too.

So far so good. It was a little sheddy at first but then I washed it and it was fine. It is super soft even after being washed twice. Several people have commented on how soft it is and stated they thought it was a Minky couture. I washed it on gentle cycle in cold water and dried it on gentle low tumble dry. It does not seem to be shedding now. I washed it a second time and put vinegar in the rinse cycle because supposedly that is supposed to help bind the fibers or something. Still seems to be not shedding. It's probably the softest blanket I have every owned. When I wash it, I will continue to wash it on gentle in cold water and dry on either gentle low tumble dry r just air fluff. I read the heat good make the fibers loose and cause more shedding. If anything changes, I will update.
